About

There seems to be an infinite amount of conflicting health information out there and it is easy to get overwhelmed when trying to make healthy choices. Labels advertise "low-carb," "fat-free," "gluten-free", and "made with whole grains" to tempt consumers into buying a healthier option. But are they truly healthier? Are carbs really bad for us? Do we all need to go gluten-free? Is wheat really destroying our health? And what's the deal with fats?

It's all very confusing, and frustrating for those trying to improve their health habits. Therefore, I have created Eat, Move, Focus to help others sort through the mess and find what's best, and healthiest for each person. I break down the research to  keep all information as easy to understand as possible and explain the why with each health tip I post. My goal is that I will encourage people to take small steps towards creating healthy habits for life and not falling into the trap of fad diets or products that promise fast results.
Eating well and exercising regularly is not always easy. It takes a lot of time, dedication, and willpower. But the results are so worth it: improved health, symptom reduction, disease prevention, feeling better in your own skin, and simply a better quality of life.

I hope that you will follow along and please give me feedback! And if there’s any particular health topic you’d like to know more about, let me know. I will write about it!
